Web3 onboarding is the process of "entering" the cryptocurrency world — from opening the first account to using decentralized applications.
Step 1: Education (1 week)
•Read/watch: What is Bitcoin, What is Ethereum
•Understand: blockchain, private keys, seed phrase

Step 2: Centralized exchange (CEX)
•Open account on Binance or OKX
•Verify identity (KYC)
•Buy some USDT or BTC (start with €50-100)
•Enable 2FA immediately
Step 3: Security
•Never share seed phrase
•Store password in password manager
•Don't keep large amount on exchange long-term
Step 4: Self-custody (after learning)
•Install MetaMask (desktop + mobile)
•Write seed phrase on paper — store offline
•Send some ETH to MetaMask from Binance
Step 5: DeFi experimentation
•Try: Uniswap swap (small amount!)
•Try: Aave deposit USDC
•Explore Layer 2 (Arbitrum, Base) — lower fees
Step 6: Hardware wallet (optional, for larger amounts)
•Trezor or Ledger for >$1000
•Seed on paper, hardware in drawer
