Satoshi Nakamoto
Anonymous creator of Bitcoin — disappeared in 2010, holds ~1M BTC never moved.
Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonym of the creator (or group) who created Bitcoin and published the Bitcoin whitepaper on October 31, 2008.
What we know:
•Published whitepaper: "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System"
•Launched Bitcoin network: January 3, 2009 (Genesis Block)
•Genesis Block message: "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks"
•Actively worked on project until December 2010
•Handed project to Gavin Andresen and disappeared
Patoshi pattern:
•Analysis suggests Satoshi mined ~1,000,000 BTC in early phase
•Never moved → if moved, market panic
•Value: ~$100B at current prices
Who is Satoshi:
•Dorian Nakamoto — wrongly identified, denied
•Craig Wright — claims to be Satoshi, no proof, lawsuits
•Nick Szabo — "bit gold" creator, similar writing style
•Hal Finney — first BTC recipient, denied
•Still a mystery — maybe we'll never know
Why anonymity matters:
•Decentralization requires impersonality
•No government or corporation can target the "father of Bitcoin"
•Bitcoin lives without Satoshi for 15+ years
